We have One Desire, to draw near to God: “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” -James 4:8

We will draw near to God through Two Devotions:

“We will devote ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.” -Acts 6:4

We will draw near to God in the Four Areas of Life:

Right Life, Right Belief, Right Practice, Right Ministry Orthozoe / Orthodoxia Orthopraxis / Orthodiakonia –John 3:16, 15:1-8,16 / John 14:6, 17:17 Mark 12:28–31 / Acts 9:6 ______________________________________________________

Right Life is Receiving Christ and Abiding in Him Orthozoe – Summarized by: John 3:16; 15:1-8,16

tHE JESuS SHEmA / tHE fRuit Of tHE SPiRit

“I pray our Celtic Cross Rule as a prayer at least once a week; at times, once each day.

Two other portions of Scripture that it is based on, that I pray often are:

The Jesus Shema (The Greatest Commandment), and The Fruit of the Spirit.

Each of them contain what I consider to be Basic Essential Scripture verses.”

The Greatest Commandment

“And Jesus answered, ‘The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God, the Lord is one:

and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength:

this is the first commandment.

And the second is like it, namely this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

There is no other commandment greater than these.'”
