Dec. 4, 2000 – Urgent Prayer Request: Please pray for my niece, Allison; she is only five years old. A rock came through the windshield of the car she was riding in, and struck her in the eye. -Tom (Washington State)
Answer to Prayer – Feb. 6, 2001 My niece Allison got to go home at Christmastime. The Doctors did not think she would regain mental awareness and physical ability, that her mind was gone.
They thought wrong! Allison is 90% back to normal. She has learned to walk, and talk, and eat on her own again. I wanted to thank you for all your prayers. At this point the Doctors have given Allison a clean bill of health. -Tom (Washington State)

Nov. 17, 2001 – Answer to Prayer: I just wanted to say thank you so much for praying for Dayna and Heather, the two American Christian aid workers in Afghanistan. Praise God for their freedom! I know Dayna personally and both girls are good friends of my friends. It’s really so amazing…God is so faithful! -Allison
Note: Heather and Dayna were held prisoner by the Taliban in Afghanistan. We placed them on our 24-Hr. Prayerchain. They were released four weeks later. Christians all over the world were praying for them.

Nov. 27, 2001 – Urgent Prayer Request: Please pray for my Mom, Helena. Please pray for a miracle…for her terminal Cancer. The Doctor has been saying she has days. She is bleeding internally from the chemotherapy. Her body is shutting down. She has liver and bone Cancer.
Answer to Prayer – Nov. 28, 2001 (One Day Later). Thank you so very much for all your prayers. My Mom, Helena, has had a turn-around, and is drinking and eating for the first time in six weeks. Praise The Lord! Thank You, Jesus! Thank You All!
I really do deeply appreciate everyone at the PrayerFoundation™ for all your support and prayers. It is truly a miracle from God!
Thank You Jesus, and all the Prayer Warriors, and the Lay Monks. Thank You Jesus, for this Miracle.
The Doctor was giving my Mom a day to live (yesterday!). The family was making funeral arrangements. This Tuesday morning, my Mom was talking, and ravenously hungry. She ate today more than she ate in 6 weeks, all together.
Praise Jesus, for He does answer prayers. Amen! Thank You, God for all the Blessings! Thank You, God, for all the Miracles! God Bless Everyone! Have a Wonderful Merry Christmas!
Answer to Prayer – Update December 6, 2001 (One Week Later). My Mom has had a Miracle! She has been healed from Cancer, and now is being healed from Chemotherapy. Praise The Lord! Thank You, Jesus! On Saturday, my Mom is being released from Hospice! Praise God!
It is a miracle, since last week the Doctor said she would not last a day. The family had started to make funeral arrangements. Praise The Lord! It is a Miracle!!!! Jesus Still Heals!!!!!!!!!!! It is eight days since the Doctor said that. Praise God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Feb. 20, 2002 – Answer to Prayer: Dear in Christ, Praise be to the Lord!
My father died just two months ago. He was 90 years of age and a retired Headmaster / Principal. He was a staunch Muslim, President of the Jama’ath Committee (Muslim Diocesan Committee) for a long time, and was very particular in the rituals of Islam.
But a few months before his death he fully heard about Jesus from me, and accepted Him as his personal Saviour. -Ciniraj (India)

Oct. 24, 2002 – Prayer Request: Please pray that the law enforcement agents will catch the killer on the loose in the areas surrounding Washington, D.C. This murderer has been shooting and killing innocent people in the nation’s Capital since October 9, and the toll is rising.
Today he threatened to go after children. Please pray for divine intervention; for an army of angels to surround this killer, and hand him over to law enforcement authorities. We need prayer to stop him. Thank you.
Answer To Prayer – Oct. 24, 2002 (The Same Day). The 23-Day Sniper Shooting / Murder Spree ended today, with the arrest of two murderers: an American Black Muslim, and a Jamaican National (13 persons shot: ten dead).

Sept. 19, 2003 – Prayer Request: Please pray for Tom. He broke his arm six months ago, and it is not healing. His Doctor says they will have to perform surgery. -Robert (Washington State)
Oct. 9, 2003 – Answer to Prayer (One Month Later). Keep praying for Tom’s arm, which had not been healing from a break for over six months, but began healing when your Prayerchain began praying for him. Thanks so much. -Robert (Washington State)
Oct. 17, 2003 – Answer to Prayer Update (Eight Days Later). The Doctors said Tom still needed surgery, because his arm was only ten percent healed.
When Tom went in for his surgery, they did a preliminary X-ray, and his Doctor was shocked, because the arm was 80% healed!
The Surgeon canceled Tom’s surgery, saying it was no longer necessary! Tom’s healing is truly a miracle! Thank you so much, all of you who were praying. -Robert (Washington State)

July 15, 2005 – Prayer Request: Dear fellow Lay Monks, my cousin has a missing daughter that was abducted. Her name is *****. She is fifteen years old. The details are rather horrific to mention, so please pray for her safety, and for the Holy Spirit to convict the man of his wrongdoing. Apr. 26, 2011 – Answer to Prayer: I was healed two weeks after I asked you for prayer. I apparently had not sent you any information about what had happened (my healing), until three years later. I had back problems for years, and was completely healed two weeks later.
Thank you for all your previous prayers, and for all the prayers you’ve sent out for everyone else, and thank God for all those answered prayers and miracles, which bring hope and faith to us all. -Gary (Louisville, Kentucky)

Jan. 23, 2002 – Prayer Request: My 27 year-old son, Trent, living hand-to-mouth in L.A. has been on and off “speed” (mostly on) for 9 years. Please pray that Trent will be delivered permanently from drugs, healed of his psychological wounds, and above all that he will surrender his life in service to Jesus Christ. -Rick
Additional Prayer Request – Apr. 15, 2002 (6 Weeks Later). My son Trent has a court appearance on Wednesday, April 17. Please pray that God will grant him extreme favor and leniency in the disposition of his case. -Rick
Answer to Prayer – Apr. 17, 2002 (Two Days Later.) Thank you for praying for my son, Trent. He did, indeed, receive a very favorable ruling today! Last night he was reading the Bible, and two other inmates joined him in a study and prayer session. -Rick
Additional Prayer Request, and an Answer to Prayer Update – Apr. 24, 2002 (One Week Later.) My son Trent has another court appearance tomorrow. Please pray that the judge will release Trent immediately. Trent says: “I want to come home and start to jog every day, and eat right, and heal my body, and go to Bible studies at night.” Thank you for your prayers. -Rick
Answer to Prayer – 2nd Update – Apr. 26, 2002 (Two Days Later). My son, Trent, is home with us! Praise the Lord! Today, God intervened again and Trent was released from jail. -Rick
Answer to Prayer – 3rd Update: Your continued prayers for my son, Trent, are working! Trent studies the Word on his own, tirelessly. He’s active in church. He demonstrates no interest in the worldly music or entertainment that used to enthrall him. Now, it’s only Jesus! -Rick
Email from Trent – Received Apr. 26, 2002 (three months — only 90 days — after the initial prayer request): Hello friends, Wow! Freedom! It sure is a good thing.
Having developed a personal relationship with Jesus about 2 & 1/2 weeks ago is even better. The love and peace I feel is like nothing that the world could give to me. Thank you all so much for your many prayers. They worked! I just want to jump and shout for joy. In jail, I began reading the book of John. Awesome stuff!
I am so excited about my new life, and I’m so lucky my dad is a true man of God. I asked him if he will baptize me sometime next week, either in his swimming pool or at the beach. What a relief, I can leave the past behind. Amen. -Trent
